The annual UK DJ Tech & Lighting Show BPM | PRO have announced their dates for 2017.

They moving back to October from Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd October in their new Genting Arena venue at the NEC Birmingham. Traditionally BPM was always an October event however in 2014 they had no choice but to move to a September dateline.

In an open letter they said ” September has been good to us, but it has impacted our growth. Partly down to the limited time for post-summer marketing and also because it is still a peak time for DJs. It also clashes with the tail end of the thriving festival scene, an area that BPM | PRO has been serving well.

PLASA’s move back to September has also made it very difficult for exhibitors who need to service both market sectors. It is not heathy for the future of either event if we continue back to back, more importantly it is confusing for visitors and without them we have no business!”
