4DSOUND Unveil Circadian

4DSOUND are excited to unveil: Circadian, their ‘groundbreaking’ new sound system which has been in the works since 2008. Having unravelled the secrets behind the intricacies in the way sound is perceived, their new system promises to explore the spatial idiosyncrasies which have previously been overlooked.

The product will make its debut at Today’s Art Festival which will take place in the Hague between the 24th and 27th September 2015 at the Electriciteitsfabriek. This will include a 24-hour programme of interactive spatial sound performances featuring Lisa Park, Marco Donnarumma, Kazuya Nagaya, Oscar Mulero and the overnight A/V meditation project Noqturnl by John Connell and Florence To.

4DSound claims to provide an omnidirectional sound environment which will allow the resonance to become symbiotic with the audience. The concept has previously been showcased at esteemed festivals such as Berlin Atonal and ADE over the past couple of years but with this technology reportedly at the forefront of the spatial sound game, we’re expecting big things in terms of the impact the latest incarnation of Circadian will have at this years exhibition.
