Debut Transmission: Danced Til Midnight – No Way Back (The Revenge Remix)

Fresh out of the UK, London’s Danced Til Midnight made their debut last year on the Thylacine Sounds imprint. The Sun Bleach EP 12“ netted support from purveyors of disco like Tensnake, Miguel Campbell and Severino. Now this funky project is back on the scene with a follow-up, ”More of Love“, backed with the equally wonderful ”No Way Back“.

Our Debut Transmission today comes from Glasgow’s heady beat champion The Revenge, who takes ”No Way Back” and creates a pulsating builder that owns the deeper shades of Balearic beach house. The vocals float elegantly above the remix’s mesmerizing rhythm construction and when those horns come in … bam!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
