Vitor Vinter joins the Spotlight Mix Series

Share

Anyone who sees the young producer Vitor Vinter emerging with his recent releases at just 21 years old can’t even imagine all the background and years of experience he accumulated.

It all started at 16 years old when he decided to take his first steps towards the art of mixing, in this period he had strong influences of Techno, but that was gradually refined and ended up migrating to the aesthetics of Tech House having Gabe, Jamie Jones and The Martinez Brothers as references artists.

A short time later the interest in learning how that whole musical universe was created naturally arose.

With just a few years of music production, his songs literally fell into the taste of great DJs like Jamie Jones, Cloonee, Dubfire, Solardo and Gabe.

In the last two years, Vitor Vinter has also caught the attention of the labels John Summit, Wade, Solardo and Gabe.

Despite his young age, all these attributes make Vitor one of the good promises of the new crop of Brazilian artists. He’s been dedicating himself in the studio and constantly keeping up to date on the whole scene, so he doesn’t become just another producer of it.

Brazilian-born pairing Viot and Vitor Vinter have both emerged as rising names to watch in the scene, capturing the attention of industry heavyweights like Joseph Capriati, Michael Bibi, Marco Carola and many more. Previously collaborating on SOSA’s imprint COCO, which featured in Beatport’s Tech House Staff Picks, they now bring their latest offering ‘FMF’ to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ esteemed label Hot Creations, marking another milestone in their careers – accompanied by fellow Brazillian talent Bruno Furlan who returns to the label on remix duties.
