RHOOWAX joins the Spotlight Mix

Time to loosen the shoulders and let the groove take control.

We’re firing up the vibes with a proper slammer from Rhoowax, the Italian selector who’s been quietly shelling dancefloors since way back in 2012.

No fluff, no filler, just straight-up movement music.

Born in Italy, raised on funk, jazz, and disco, Dario aka Rhoowax has been on a low-key mission to keep bodies moving.

You might’ve caught his earlier work under different aliases, or clocked his tunes rinsed by the big boys including Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice. If you know, you know.

Now, with gigs stretching from BPM Festival in Costa Rica to sweaty nights at Toffler in Rotterdam, he’s cementing his spot in the global underground. Elrow, Pacha, Clubroom in Chile, this guy’s passport is stacked, and so are his sets.

TBX Premiere · PREMIERE: Rhoowax – All I Want [Motel Calypso Records]

This year, he’s stepped up again with his Lost In Melody EP on Milan’s Motel Calypso Records — co-founded by Massi Rocket and rooted in the Rocket Club scene. Two standout cuts, ‘All I Want’ and the title track, balance deep escapist melodies with rolling, percussion-heavy energy. It’s club gear built for sweaty moments and sunrise resets.

This mix? Straight fire. Think chunky basslines, juicy percussion, and cheeky vocal chops that make your feet twitch before your brain catches up. It’s got bounce, soul, and more swing than a dodgy afters in East London. From his own heater “Caliente” to Josh Kalker’s “Bang Bang” and DJ Dep’s roof-raiser “Higher”, it’s peak-time gear for rooftop raves, warehouse thumps, and sunrise roll-ons.

If you’re into rolling grooves, funky twists, and high-grade rhythms that don’t quit, this is one for the headphones and the dancefloor.

Hit play, turn it up, and catch the wave on SoundCloud now.
