MUUS joins the Spotlight Mix

Share

Entering the stage in early 2020, MUUS has experienced a pleasantly abrupt induction into being a full-fledged electronic artist. After an early flurry of attention, MUUS’ work was quickly snapped up by some well-respected House imprints – most notably Piero Pirupa’s ‘NONSTOP’ label, who picked “Freak”, a two-track EP.

With an ever-increasing stream of impressive releases under his belt, MUUS has already amassed some promising milestones. His debut EP ‘Say Something’ which landed on OKNF Records, achieved an extraordinary #3 spot in Beatport’s Tech House releases chart, #11 in Beatport’s overall releases chart, and both tracks climbing their way into Beatport’s Tech House Top 100 singles chart.

Additionally, his work has garnered the attention of some of the biggest names in the business. His releases have seen support from the likes of Calvin Harris, Chris Lake, Green Velvet, Joel Corry, Piero Pirupa, Dr. Fresch, Golf Clap, Shiba San, and many more heavy hitters.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
