Spotlight Mix

KLP joins the Spotlight mix series

Australian dance music queen KLP has been causing a stir of late with her killer creations and seriously impressive catalogue of collaborations (Skrillex and What So Not to name a few). Now she returns with a fresh serving of club fire in the form of Heater. Marrying together intoxicating vocals, playful synths and a serious low-end bump, KLP‘s exquisite production skills are once again brought to the fore.

Premiering on Triple J radio with Declan Byrne, Heater was written and produced entirely by KLP in her Sydney home studio. It’s also the latest taste of KLP‘s debut album, coming later this year.

KLP has been DJing for over nine years. Always producing and recording her own vocals, she also loves songwriting for others and making mixes in her beloved Triple J house party role which she left in 2018 to pursue her music career.

With a debut album slated for release later this year, the sizzling Heater and a huge Australian tour on the horizon, 2019 is looking set to be a milestone for the multi-faceted talent.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
