Gifta is a Drum & Bass DJ and aspiring producer based in London and Reading. In terms of Drum & Bass style, she prefers to go for the darker side. She incorporates elements of minimal, heavier rollers and Techy Neuro into her mixes and sets. Additionally, she also founded her own record label: Phase Records in the summer of 2020 with the aim to nurture and grow new talent in the scene and create a safe space for her artists.
Having supported the likes of Enei, Break, Kanine and Pendulum; she is slowly breaking her way through into the scene and gaining recognition for her skills. Mixmag recently featured Gifta in their “Best DJ mixes of 2022” article and she has also caught the attention of Foreign Beggars and Dnb France. Now having started her production journey, she is hoping that one day she will be able to put her feelings and stories into tunes, as well as in her mixes.
