Although a relative newcomer to the London DJ circuit, Sally Love experienced her first taste of the house music scene attending beach parties, illegal raves and underground club nights in her Northern hometown Cleethorpes in the mid 1990s, a passion which has stayed with her right through to today, and influenced her musical style and DJ sets.
Buying her first set of decks in 2014, she cut her teeth at basement clubs around East London, including The Souls, The Waiting Room and Shelter, and played many of her first gigs alongside the East London DJ Collective, ‘The Dalston Club’.
Sally has gone on to feature as a guest DJ for a number of established nights including Under My Feet, Tribal Sessions, Alfresco, Circus, Deeper Sounds, NEW LDN, Key of Life, SOLU, and ABDUCT Brooklyn, playing in some of London’s most iconic club venues such as EGG, Ministry of Sound, Fire, Lightbox, 93 Feet East and Club Aquarium, as well as playing at venues overseas in Ibiza, New York and Rome.
Having held a residency at EGG London since 2016 with the monthly techno party PROXY, and now launching a new brand ‘THERAPY’ at the club, Sally is gaining a reputation for playing deep tech beats, and pushing the crowd further with her relentless techno sets as she makes her mark on the scene.
To accompany her new party at EGG London, she launches the monthly Radio Show on Data Transmission ‘Sally Love presents: THERAPY’. With a music policy of pure unadulterated underground sounds, and a firm focus strictly on techno, acid and minimal beats, each episode will be showcasing some of the best emerging talent from across Europe.
