JUST2 steps up for Data Transmission Radio with a Solid Grooves-ready selection

Romanian groove operator JUST2 joins us on the latest Data Transmission Radio mix, fresh from his return to Solid Grooves Raw with the new single ‘Close Your Eyes’.

A steady name within the Solid Grooves orbit over the last few years, JUST2 has built his reputation on tight, rolling club tools. No gimmicks. Just groove. His productions have landed in the bags of DJs like The Martinez Brothers, Marco Carola, Luciano and Richie Hawtin, and his sets carry the same heads-down energy that’s made him a reliable name across underground dancefloors.

The new single ‘Close Your Eyes’ continues that run on SG Raw, leaning into darker territory with punchy drums, crisp percussion and a low-end built for late-night rooms.

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
It’s hard to pick just one because I really like most tracks in this mix, but if I have to choose, my standout is JUST2 – Close Your Eyes. It’s my new release on Solid Grooves Raw, and it perfectly captures the hypnotic deep-tech vibe I wanted for this podcast.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
The special ingredient is the smooth balance between minimal hypnotic atmospheres and that tight, rolling deep-tech groove. I aimed for a mix that feels spacious yet keeps constant forward energy, perfect for long club nights.

Tell us about your next EP?
Right now, I’m mainly focused on promoting my latest release, JUST2 – Close Your Eyes on Solid Grooves Raw. At the same time, I have plans to release more music on my own label HEAROES in the near future — possibly even an album quite soon.
