What’s your personal favourite track on it?
The first and second to last track are from Poker Flat boss Steve Bug.
Both from vinyl, one brand new, one almost 20 years old – both amazing timeless tracks!
Also, I have to name my remix of Matthias Tanzmann’s “Chano.”
I have been trying for years to get this one right. I think this was the 4th go at it with a new concept and countless iterations. Thanks to Matthias and my Studiopartner Tsodor for the patience. But I’m thrilled I was persistent – love the Remix!
What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
I really enjoy playing tracks of friends (and my own) these days.
Obviously, music connects us, but the tracks also have more meaning for me.
Maybe a bit like buying vinyl, there’s just more connection than downloading an anonymous MP3 from the web.
And playing your own tracks at gigs is one of the best feelings in general. To feel the result of all the hours in the studio, to get the feedback from the dance floor – especially when it’s unreleased, and nobody has ever heard it before.
Tell us about your next single?
My new single on Pokerflat combines my two homes: I made the instrumental in Ibiza, and Maniac is rapping in Bavarian (with a bit of English)
Zaxndi is literally a blasphemy but can also mean anger, joy, or surprise; most of the time, it’s used as a gritty compliment. A bit like a more playful “damn”.
I named the track after the gritty baseline – and Maniac made it an earworm!
What have you got coming up?
Seems to be my personal Rapper-weeks: 5. December “Eat You Alive” with Turnup Tun comes on 25 Years Moon Harbour. In January crazy Remixes for Zaxndi by Kollektiv Turmstrasse and by Moonbootica & myself. Already confirmed for 2026 are Releases on Cocoon, Moodmusic, Heideton and two more tracks on Pokerflat.
I might have hidden some of my unreleased tracks in the set too.
