Born and raised in New Jersey, Junior first cut his teeth at some of the hottest clubs in NYC and it was here that he meticulously perfected his craft to become one of the most in-demand DJs in the music industry.

His relentless work ethic and innovative, forward-thinking style have attracted attention & respect from his peers and major artists alike Junior’s catalogue is almost overwhelmingly impressive, with releases on some of dance music’s most established labels including Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Snatch, Relief, Defected, Mad Tech Records, Circus recordings to name a few. Add to that an impressive list of production remix credits for artists including Madonna, Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, Chrvches, Azealia Banks, Cassius, Ariana Grande and Teyana Taylor, and you have an artist that never fails to deliver the goods.

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
Not to be biased but my new track on Defected Hit It Feat Nez is a scorcher of a record and the upcoming Ant LaRock Featuring Eric Essebag Guitarrita is such a beautiful tune upcoming on Brobot.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
It’s being done without any plan in mind and just playing records that my soul fel. The only track i knew i was going to play was HIt It , so i guess being spontaneous would be the special sauce or ingredient

Tell us about your next EP?
Well Hit It feat Nez, the unbelievable artist from Chicago, is making its rounds and that’s what i’m pushing at the moment. It’s getting huge reactions from my peers and the general public alike. Also my remix for Alan Braxe and Dj Falcon’s 22 Smash “Step By Step” sees the light of day this month on Smugglers/Domino records. I’m excited that it has finally come out as people have been asking about that remix since last year.

What have you got coming up?
A lot happening for 2023, a bunch of singles on a few different labels i love and I’ll spill the tea on just two. First is a release on Mele’s label Club Bad & another one following on Carl Craig’s Planet E so there’s some very cool stuff in the pipeline.

I also have two cool projects on Atrak’s label Fools Gold. One is a solo and another is a collaboration project that you’ll hear about soon! ill circle back and let you know before it comes out

Believe in yourself cause if you don’t then no one will. Make music you believe in and don’t worry about trends.
