DT790 – Glen Horsborough
Glen Horsborough, from the North East of England, has and continues to Dj, in the biggest clubs throughout the Uk & Worldwide.
Experiencing sets in the early days from the likes of Pete Tong, Eric Morillo and Deep Dish, helped develop his passion for house music and his craft of Djing. His infectious personality and the ability to read a crowd whether it be from the shores of Rio or the energetic crowds of Ibiza delivering a memorable set is what makes Glen stand out from the rest. Glen has played in over 20 countries worldwide.
His background in specialist radio which has spanned over 10 years, has seen Glen producing the weekly Hed Kandi radio show every Wednesday on Ministry Of Sound Radio with Zoe Hardman.
Glen also complied two Hedkandi albums and mixed one side of the Miami Album in 2014.
Now with his new brand, Glen presents his very own ‘Let There Be House‘ podcast which has a huge following and on average has 60,000 downloads per month on iTunes. Sum up this podcast in 10 words…
Feel good vibes to put a smile on your face.
What’s your personal favourite track on it?
It has to be the second track. Michael Antley feat Michelle Weeks – Feel It. It’s forthcoming on Let There Be House and i’m super excited about with the feedback it’s getting so far from DJs.
What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
I’m more into vocals, groove and pianos. So this mix has plenty of those and a couple of classic reworks thrown in for good measure.
Tell us about your next EP?
I mentioned before the Michael Antley & Michelle Weeks record. Well because i love it so much i’ve done the remix for it which will drop on the 15th of July and i’m also in the process of signing a track with Motive which will drop at the beginning of August.
What have you got coming up?
I’m playing at the new In It Together Festival in South Wales on the 3rd of June which will be cool alongside Dan Shake, Todd Terry, Armand Van Helden. We’ve also got some big Let There Be House parties planned at Boxpark in Shoreditch (2nd July) and the iClub in Nottingham (23rd July).
And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
