Sum up this podcast in 10 words…

Raw techy club bits that I’ve been playing out a lot (think that’s 10 words!)

What’s your personal favourite track on it?

Andrea Oliva – Alley Rave. Sonically this track is literally unrivalled, nothing else sounds like it and it absolutely slams.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?

I probably shouldn’t admit this but ABLETON 😅 I’m halfway between moving studios and my whole studio, including decks, mixer and about a million wires is in storage boxes, one of which I’m currently using as a desk to type this email. There was no chance of me doing this mix live with no soundproofing in the room yet. Managed to plug in my RMX1000 so used that as a VST for builds and stuff, works out quite nicely, I’ve learned quite a bit doing a mix like this, didn’t even know you could use it as a VST.

Tell us about your next EP?

The next release I have is a collab with George Mensah, coming out on LoveJuice middle of March. It’s been 5 years (3 if we don’t count the covid years) since I’ve worked on a record with George despite running the label together. It was more than overdue that we jumped back in the studio and made something fresh.

What have you got coming up?

Ahh, I’m excited, got so much lined up for the next few months alone. Remix EP with Jess Bays coming early April and then a collab with Joshwa coming out on Catch & Release a month after that. Until recently I was in a major label deal which only finished the end of last year, was great being part of that big label machine but now I can release whatever I want with whatever label I want for the first time since 2017.
