DT774 – Bastian Bux

Bastian Bux is, in his own right, one of the DJs and producers with the most powerful past, present and future of the scene.

This multi-award Barcelona native has managed, thanks to his ambition, his talent and hard work, to be one of the main artists of Elrow, the most important electronic music promoter group on the planet, and perform in more than 50 countries.

The reason? Both as selector and producer, he is able to move with ease within the house, tech-house, minimal or techno with a versatility that has made him a guarantee of success, and a regular in line-ups of the best festivals and clubs in Las Vegas, Amsterdam, London, Barcelona or Ibiza, performing for thousands of people every weekend; releasing his music with the most prestigious labels, and being present in the tracklists of the biggest names in the industry.

Today, he returns to the podcast for us, today. Listen to it below, on Mixcloud or iTunes here.

Sum up this podcast in 10 words…
A trip around my house music perceptions.

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
Flow. It’s a track of mine released on Cuartero’s label Sanity that somehow feels like a new beginning for me. It has everything I like now: groove, electro influences and a powerful hook.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?

Tell us about your next EP?
It’s a weird mix of diverse electronic music influences received during these past years exploring super different genres. Some call it minimal, others tech-house… I only hear weird house music made in 2022. It’s my debut ep on elrow music which is pretty crazy when you think i’ve been one of the main resident djs of the brand for almost seven years.

What have you got coming up?
Lots of collaborations with my favorite artists, which is what excites me the most. Plenty of new music… And my new own label, Neverendz, that will finally see the light this year.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
Don’t be scared to explore yourself and discover that you are tired of what you have been doing and you feel like starting something different, to change is exciting.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
