Sum up this podcast in 10 words…
This is the stuff I currently dig.

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
I produced a new track recently with Roland Clark entitled, “Alkebulan”.  I can’t help but dance to it whenever I put it on.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
I wanted to showcase my original works and start to champion my own diverse sound.  It’s easy disregard my own art after I’ve created it, mixed it and mastered it.  I get tired listening to the tracks after 1000 plays.  Recently I’ve been more conscious of the inspiration and energy that I put into my music and I want the rest of the world to hear it…who else to play it for the world than me?

What’s the best gig you’ve played recently?
I did a tour with Defected Records in November of 2019. The stops at Halcyon SF and Sound LA were bananas!

What have you got coming up?
The EP that I am highlighting in this mix “The End Is Near” EP, launched March 6th on Simma Black. I am also spinning with Defected Records in my hood this time at Elsewhere in Brooklyn on March 27th.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
There is so much amazing music out there. If you are a DJ, don’t be lazy and dig for some real shit.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
