DT660 – Kinnerman

Gaining huge recognition in the music industry right now. Solardo named him as their 2017 ‘one to watch’, and rightly so; his tracks have caused quite a stir amongst some of the biggest labels out there. Kinnerman’s first release ‘Hip House’ on Elrow Music shot to the top of the charts and was followed up with ‘On The Drums’ on their Miami 2017 compilation.

Quickly discovered by Josh Butler, one of his idols, Kinnerman then released ‘Tha Break’ on Origins Rcrds, and carried on to flourish with the big labels such as Kaluki, Mr Nice Guy and to even being hunted down by Steve Lawler to remix a track for his record label ‘Viva Music’. His tracks have gained heavyweight support from Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, Richy Ahmed, Solardo, Camelphat, Yousef, Matthias Tanzmann, Erick Morillo, the list goes on.

Jesse Perez claims ‘my sets are comprised of 80% of my own work, and Kinnerman is one of a handful of artists that I look for to complete the rest of my sets. Definitely one of/ if not the most talented up and coming artist emerging from the UK.’

Kinnerman continues with gigs none stop, already played in hotspots such as Ibiza, Dubai, Austria, Bilbao, and all over the UK to name a few. With all this under his belt so far. It’s just the beginning of what’s to come for Kinnerman.

Today, he joins us on the podcast for the very first time. Listen to it below, on Spotify or iTunes here.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
