Simone Liberali has quickly established his name around the world. He performed 80+ gigs in 30 countries in 2018, a big step up for the 24-year-old from Pavia, Italy.

Simone got his start as resident for Detroit Milano, one of the most important underground parties in Milan and has become a regular of some of the biggest dance institutions in Italy: Cocoricò, Tenax and Magazzini Generali.

His productions are distinguished for their powerful, percussive and playful sound, with vocal touches and deep energetic bass lines. In 2017 he found success in the Beatport charts with Music On’s Leon, their record “Can’t You See” reached #2 of the tech house chart and #3 on the global Beatport Chart, becoming the most played track during BPM 2017. This caught the attention of Nic Fanciulli and Saved Records who signed Simone’s next EP “Halo” which also cracked the global Beatport top 10.

His sets are groovy, percussive and Latin-influenced with lots of his own productions thrown in, this has captivated many audiences around the globe with a huge demand for him in South America being the catalyst for his first tour at 19 years old. Since then Simone has played in USA, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Bolivia Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil and Mexico in the Americas as well as Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand, without even mentioning Europe, where Simone has played in almost every country.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
Searching for each song that I play, I spend a lot of time looking for the tracks that most respect my style and represents me, so I would say it’s the time to make it perfect!

What’s the best gig you’ve played recently?
I’ve just come back from Argentina where I played in two fantastic parties in Rosario and Buenos Aires! The clubs were amazing and the Argentinian crowd is so impressive, the top three countries for me in the world, their energy is next level!

What have you got coming up?
This week I’m playing in Zakynthos, Greece at Barrage Club for a special six-hour extended set, I can’t wait to go on that journey with the dance floor there. Musically I’ve just finished two new tracks so stay tuned.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
