DT647 – Daniel Steinberg
Club trends come and go, but Daniel Steinberg has been a constant creative force in electronic music for well over a decade. One of Berlin’s most celebrated house & techno practitioners, Steinberg is a dance floor specialist with an ear for infectious hooks and addictive grooves.
He’s connected with some of the most well known names in electronic music, having remixed everyone from Oliver Dollar, Felix Da Housecat & Claptone. While his own productions have been remixed by Roman Fluegel, Derrick Carter, 808 State, Paul Johnson, Nick Holder & DJ W!LD to name but a few.
Steinberg’s early output arrived on Jesse Rose’s Front Room label with a string of releases including the latin house hit ‘Bailando’ and his debut album ‘Shut up’. The focus shifted in 2011 to his own Arms & Legs imprint through which he released his subsequent albums ‘Treptow’ and ‘Left-Handed’ and club classics ‘Joy & Happiness’ and ‘Let Me Down’ that was re-released on Defected with a chart topping remix from Tube & Berger.
His DJ-ing has been similarly heralded having built a reputation as an artist who delivers serious fun to the dance floor. Daniel has played peak-time slots across the globe including Panorama Bar Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Baum Bogota, DC310 Mexico City, Razzamatazz Barcelona, Wire Festival Japan, Fusion Festival Germany.
