Laidback Luke’s techno alias ‘DARK CHANELL’ stems from the techno roots of Laidback Luke’s DJ/Producer career and is now ready to launch his newest EP, ‘ No. 3’. The six tracks on this EP will be an ode to the pioneers of the Techno scene that influenced him personally such as Secret Cinema and Jeff Mills.

All these tracks are original productions from DARK CHANELL where he took the elements that inspired him from these pioneers and built his own tracks based on those elements. No. 3 is a really strong Techno EP that sets a unique atmosphere and is crafted exceptionally for the true old-school techno listener. The ‘No. 3 EP will be out on March 31 on all platforms.

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
Whenever a 4 deck blend works and holds a groove. I almost see this whole podcast as one big track.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
The special ingredient is that it’s a straight-up 4 deck mix. A multitude of blending in and out of layers while keeping the groove going.

Tell us about your next EP?
This time I give the tribute to the producers who made a big impact on me towards the mid-90s. I still try and keep their spirit alive. They are absolute legends and people need to know about them.

What have you got coming up?
Currently working on a new EP, which will be very much in the style of this podcast.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
It’s a groove, it’s a vibe, step into this attitude and state of mind and let this podcast take you away from daily life for a moment!
