NUDE057: Sisko Electrofanatik

Share

Francesco Fortuna, aka Sisko Electrofanatik, was born in Rome. Since he was very young, he was attracted by dance music, and with time he developed a special interest in the various facets of house and electronic music. His passion for electronic music pulls him to express his ideas and musical selections.

So he started to work in some clubs of the Italian capital. His style in DJ sets was always surrounded by electronic sound, and that is how he was eventually tagged with the nick “Electrofanatik”. After a few years of doing gigs, he started to feel the need to create a personal sound, so he began to produce and express his creativity in the current underground style. Hence the search for a label that supported his musical needs, and the meeting with various producers that brought him to know Neurotraxx Recordings, becoming successively Label Manager and leading artist of the label.

Today, he joins the NUDE Techno podcast, with an hour of Techno. Listen to it below on SoundCloud & Mixcloud. If you are feeling this series, then please consider supporting it on Mixcloud Select.

Sum up this podcast in 10 words…
A mix of my latest tracks and new upcoming promos

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
My favourite track is the Superstrobe remix of “Galaxy” by Patrick Scuro and Philipp Lewinski, I think it’s very explosive when the track drops to kick back in with the beat vocal!

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
The special ingredient is the “rollercoaster” of styles with peaks and big drops.

Tell us about your next EP?
I have two upcoming EP’s and played two tracks off them in this mix.

Plus, there is also my upcoming EP on Say What? Records, which I made in collaboration with Lazar (IT). That EP includes 3 raw acid techno tracks, and will be out on February 26th as a Beatport exclusive.

“Only One” is my next single track and one that’s forthcoming on my own label Gain Records that includes a collaborative remix by Luca Morris & Mozzy Rekorder. I’d describe this track as modern, peak time techno, and it will be out at the end March.

What have you got coming up?
I’m still working on my full album (that I will release next year) and I have forthcoming collaborations planned with Dino Maggiorana, Tom Wax, and Stiv Hey. I also have a release planned this spring on Unrilis and after that, a remix on AnalyticTrail. I also have lots of exciting stuff planned for my label Gain Records.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
We will rave again soon! Techno never dies!

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
