Whyt Noyz – The Gods Clap

Whyt Noyz is one of the most assured techno talents of the day and here he appears on Pig & Dan’s fast rising label Elevate with two more tracks that prove exactly why.

Now less mechanical and with more soul, Whyt Noyz has evolved from a duo into a solo project with David Sidley leading the charge. With releases on seminal labels such as Minus, SCI+TEC and Bedrock behind him along with a much lauded hybrid DJ / live show David is proving to be one of the most exciting new talents in techno.

Up today is our Debut Transmission ‘The Gods Clap’, a brooding main room techno roller with fat, well swung drums and the sort of frazzled synths that really burrow deep into your brain. Russian Doll then builds the pressure in spooky, rubbery loops and dark vocals and sweeps you up and carries you away in its irresistible groove. Full of atmosphere and space, it is a real standout cut.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
