Video Premiere: Rex The Dog – Bonn

We love animal monikered electronic artists here at DT. Don’t ask us why but we just do, from Felix Da Housecat to Gold Panda and Tiger and Woods… Well that last one is stretching it a bit but you get the point. Thus it is with great excitement that we are premiering the new track of none other than Rex The Dog for your delights today with the unveiling of the video to the B side of his upcoming release ‘Bonn’ on Southern Fried Records.

Set to drop on May 6th  for the A side and title track “Do You Feel What I Feel’ Rex The Dog has enlisted the vocal talents of Jamie McDermott from The Irrepressibles for a record that  with its arpeggiated bassline and soaring vocal melodies would be just as much at home in a warehouse in ’93 as a club in 2013. With a remix package promising reworkings from Rex himself, Jacques Renault, Kim Ann Foxman, Riva Starr and Tiger & Woods  in addition to the energy laden ‘Bonn’  which can be heard beneath this appears to be one of the most stacked ‘singles’ we’ve seen in a long time.

Check it out.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
