Seven Dials Records drops a slamming ‘Woofy Wednesdays’ EP from label favourite Timmy P.
In the last few months, Timmy P has released on numerous high flying labels such as Do Not Sleep, Sublease, Inermu, and Resonance records and his records have been championed by a cross-genre selection of DJs such as Skream, Martin Ikin, Seb Zito, DJ Caspa, Sidney Charles, and Luna City Express.
After his first release on Seven Dials which was a collaboration with MADVILLA, for his second release on the label, he goes solo and lays down a slick 3 track EP of garage with touches of house. Timmy delivers a quality EP for Zito’s burgeoning Seven Dials which keeps the quality even higher than excellent.
The first and title track on the EP is ‘Woofy Wednesdays’, With its more 4 to the floor kick yet garage shuffling highs combining with skanking bassline and filtered vocal cut filtering in and out through the track this is one to get you to dance. ‘Don’t Zoom’, which features a much heavier shuffle to its groove, old school pianos which are reminiscent of a 90’s classic this is one to keep you warm this winter.
Our premiere is ‘Flamingos In My Mouse’, which takes us more in an old school Todd Terry vibe with the power kick and heavy beats driving the track this is peak time house music.
