The Fiber Pianist comes to London for One Night Only
Classical pianist Tijmen Veltman aka The Fiber Pianist translates Drum & Bass hits into captivating pieces of musical art. For one night only on Thursday 19th March and taking place in the majestic Grade II-listed Shoreditch Town Hall in the heart of East London, you will be able to hear a selection of the most iconic contemporary Drum & Bass tracks in a completely new way.
After videos of his cover of Macky Gee’s ‘Tour’ during his debut show in the Netherlands went viral earlier this year, it was felt the time was right to bring him to the birthplace of Drum & Bass. The leading pianist of the prestigious Sweelinck Orchestra in his native Netherlands, The Fiber Pianist will push your musical boundaries and introduce you to a whole new kind of Drum & Bass experience.
Performing music from some of the Drum & Bass’ most celebrated artists including Chase & Status, Wilkinson, Sub Focus and many more he will be introducing London to a fresh and exciting take on the music we all love.
This is an all-seated event and is suitable for all ages, providing the perfect opportunity for both newcomers and hardcore fans of Drum & Bass (of all generations!) to experience some of the genre’s most recognisable records in the most unique and special way.
