SXM Festival is back for its 10th birthday, and it’s bringing serious firepower. The Phase One lineup has landed for 17th to 21st March 2027, on the Caribbean island of St. Martin. Bob Sinclar, MEDUZA, Sasha, Claptone, Dombresky (Disco Dom), Franky Rizardo and Brunello lead the charge. Five days. One island. One sun-kissed, sweaty dancefloor.
Joining them are Guy Gerber, Patrick Topping, Dennis Cruz, Chelina Manuhutu, Deer Jade, Matt Sassari, Max Styler and more. That’s a lot of rolling basslines and peak-time groove for one small island to handle.
Since 2016, SXM Festival has pulled off something few events can match. There’s no single site. Instead, the whole island becomes the party. Beaches, villas, clubs, hilltops and the odd secret spot across the French and Dutch sides all get involved. The island isn’t the backdrop; it’s part of the crew.

Music always comes first here. Rather than chasing the biggest bill possible, SXM curates. Legends sit alongside respected selectors and hungry new talent. Past editions have welcomed Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, BLOND:ISH, Bonobo and Richie Hawtin. Plenty of rising names caught their big moment here too. Every booking has to fit the island, the spot and the moment.
So what does a day look like? Maybe it starts on a beach and drifts into a village lunch. Then comes a sunset session, before ending somewhere nobody planned. You bump into last night’s dancefloor mates. Someone tips you off about another party. A quick stop turns into three hours. By midweek, the same faces pop up on boats, at restaurants and back in the thick of the bounce.
Guests have flown in from more than 58 countries in recent years. By the end of the week, it feels like family. And in a world of constant posting, SXM Festival still lets you go off grid for a while. Some of the best moments never make the schedule.

Founder Julian Prince puts it best: “From the beginning, I never wanted SXM to be the biggest festival. I wanted people to go home with stories they would still be telling years later. You come for the music, but then the island takes over. You discover places you didn’t know existed, meet people you never expected to meet, and suddenly you’re watching the sun come up with friends you made two days ago. Ten editions later, that feeling is still there. Protecting it is what matters most to me.”
The road to ten hasn’t always been smooth. When Hurricane Irma devastated St. Martin in 2017, the SXM community rallied to support the recovery. The pandemic hit pause too. Yet the bond held firm, and the festival kept coming back.
Today, local crews, venues, restaurants, hotels, drivers and suppliers on both sides remain at the heart of it all. Guests stay in local villas, rent boats and spend across the island. For SXM, sustainability means a lasting, positive relationship with the place that hosts it.

Ten editions in, SXM Festival is still the Caribbean’s most gloriously unpredictable rave. Even better, more artists, parties and anniversary surprises are coming in the next few months.
