The Haxan Cloak

Bobby Krlic has come a long way since his first album as The Haxan Cloak came out on Aurora Borealis back in 2011. Since then he’s not only become one of Techno’s leading lights but also established himself as a one of music’s most in demand producers, most notably being summoned to work on avant-garde pop princess Björk’s 2015 album ‘Vulnicura’.

Thus it is with considerable excitement that we received word that Mr. Krlic had hooked up with WU LYF’s Ellery James Roberts and Ebony Horn to launch a new project set to be known as LUH. Having spent the past 18 months developing the concept behind the undertaking, the endeavour starts life with ‘I&I’ which recorded on the British coast seeks to speak of “impulse & limitation, the thoughts that pass thru the morning air, the embers of a dreams left unspoken then forgotten. The visual finds portraying the taunts of duality, invocation of the rising sun to find the courage to act” and arrives alongside a visual accompaniment directed by Horn and Florian John.

Out now via Mute Records you can stream the cut’s official video in full below.
