Stream: Skream — Rollercoaster feat. Sam Frank

Do you love disco? Of course you do! Summer is still well and truly in the air and our good friend Skream has delivered some seriously funky vibes in releasing a fresh disco track for your enjoyment this Thursday.  It continues the evolution of his sound as he refuses to be pigeonholed by the bass centric dubstep works of his early career as he helped forge the genre.

Entitled ‘Rollercoaster’  his latest single enlists the falsetto talents of vocalist Sam Frank for a classic slice of neo-disco punctuated by a pulsating synth line. Written and produced by Skream before being recorded with live instrumentation for that retrofitted studio sound we just wish it’d have arrived a little earlier to have kick started our summer.

Backed by remixes from Jimmy Edgar, Curses, Hrdvsion and Route 94 you can check out the original below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
