Stowaway Festival 2026 lands from 31st July to 2nd August in the rolling woodlands near Stowe, north Buckinghamshire, and this one is personal. Five years deep. Zero corporate gloss. Pure independent spirit.
Stowaway Festival 2026 has grown fast, but it still feels like a word-of-mouth secret passed between friends in muddy trainers. Born in 2022 on Blackpit Farm by Duncan Wheeler, who grew up on that very land, the festival has stayed fiercely independent. No sponsors. No gimmicks. Just proper music heads building something special in the countryside.

This fifth birthday line-up is stacked.
Expect a cosmic glide from Nightmares On Wax (DJ set). Horn-led heat from Kokoroko. Soulful shimmer courtesy of Say She She. Bass pressure and all-out carnage from a long-time friend of DT, Skream. Jazz-tinged fireworks via Emma-Jean Thackray.
Then it gets deeper. Calibre brings rolling low-end therapy. Ewan McVicar delivers that hands-in-the-air house bounce. Francois K digs into timeless grooves. Move D keeps it classy and cosmic.
And for the Drum & Bass faithful, the moment lands Friday night. Hospital Records celebrates 30 years with a Shake Off stage takeover. London Elektricity. Lens. DJ Zinc. Makoto. Dynamite MC. That is heritage meeting future, all under a canopy of trees and laser-cut light.

And then there’s our lot. We’ll be on site backing head honcho Ron Mexico and label captain Hobbs as they dive headfirst into 130 disco territory, sprinkling in a few leftfield curveballs for good measure.
Meanwhile, long-standing DT Radio host Madame Electrifie makes her return for round two after tearing it up last year. Her verdict? “That was probably the best set I’ve ever played!”
Stowaway Festival 2026 is not just about the stages…
Ancient woodland becomes a dancefloor labyrinth at night. Lasers slice through branches. Hidden paths lead to a secret Speakeasy. You might stumble into a cover band or an unannounced DJ set. That sweaty warehouse feeling, except you are surrounded by lakes and open sky.
By day, it shifts gears. Wild swimming. Canoeing. Paddleboarding. Lakeside spa sessions (this is an absolute game-changer!). Kids crafting while parents catch a groove. Artisan food traders serving everything from plant-based plates to indulgent festival treats. Craft beers, cocktails and no-and-low options flowing all weekend.

In a tough climate for festivals, Stowaway Festival 2026 is bucking the trend. Last year saw a 20% audience increase while others struggled. That tells you everything. Community matters. Quality matters.
“The live events industry has been a tough place to exist as an independent festival over the last few years, which makes us especially proud to announce our fifth edition of Stowaway. There have been many times when we’ve wondered whether it’s all worth it, whether we were simply insane to launch a festival just after the pandemic when so many established festivals seemed to be struggling. But it is testament to the incredible crowd of attendees, artists, performers, crew, family and friends, that Stowaway keeps growing from strength to strength each year. There is no better feeling than the rush of excitement as we open the gates, seeing the joy on everyone’s faces as we embark on another adventure together. Stowaway truly is the sum of all its’ contributors’ efforts and we just can’t wait to welcome you back into this little slice of countryside we call home!” – Stowaway founder Duncan Wheeler
