Spotlight Mix: Doyeq

We’re continuing our exploration of the Russian underground this week, as live double-act Doyeq take a turn under the Data Transmission Spotlight.

With experience in the electronic music scene dating back to 1997, Moscow-based Sergey Kulikov and Vitaliy Bragin joined forces as Doyeq back in 2009. Through continual experimentation, the pair developed their distinct minimal and deep techno sound, focusing around a “powerful groove” and “dub-atmosphere”.

The duo have offered up production work via the likes of NOPASSPORT, Slowdance, Pro-Tez, Blumenbeat, StudioR, MOSHItaka and Subspiele, but their exclusive Spotlight Mix is actually made up entirely of unreleased material. Unfortunately this means there’s no tracklist, but in light of how special it makes the mix, we thought you guys wouldn’t mind!
