Spartaque returns to CODEX with ‘One Man Festival’ EP

Share

August the 21st meets Spartaque to come back on his label – CODEX with the new banger called “One Man Festival”. The release was created as an attempt to avoid the effects of festival starvation caused by self-isolation.

Standing as one of Ukraine’s biggest techno exports, Codex Recordings & IAMT label boss Spartaque has seen great acclaim as a producer, DJ and industry figure over the years. Alongside his production output and busy touring schedule, Spartaque maintains momentum by way of his award-winning Supreme podcast, in addition to numerous guest mixes on other podcasts and radio shows.

More and more the world of dance music is changing every year; it is complemented by new names, new characters, new styles and trends. In this impetuous flow, it is very important for an artist not to lose the guiding line that once was the start of a wonderful DJ’s and sound producer’s life. Precisely this distinguishes Spartaque among many names, and his name has been a matter of respect and admiration for hundreds and thousands of clubbers and other artists for many years.

The label says “The idea is to remind people that we are still together, music unites us and the quarantine will come to an end sooner or later and all will go to normal. We will be together again, but the rave is inside all of us.”

We premiere ‘Revoluion 909’ from the EP, check it out below and grab it here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
