Soundcrash announce MachineDrum in London

Share

Soundcrash have announced that two of their favourite producers will perform at in East London’s newest basement venue Mangle E8, for a 100mph night of bass, beats, glitch and non stop dancing on Thursday 23rd March.

Machinedrum has been pushing musical boundaries since he burst onto the scene as a 19 year old with ‘Now You Know’. 16 years, several albums and a few aliases later, Travis Stewart has cemented his reputation as one of electronic music’s favourite sons. His diverse productions have seen him take inspiration from glitch hop to footwork, juke and drum & bass, each time adding his own talent and technical mastery to create a unique sound.

Iglooghost has been releasing music from a young age. His 2015 EP ‘Chinese Nu Yr’ was released on Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder imprint at the tender age of 18, putting him very firmly in spotlight. His glitchy patchwork of whizzes, synths and vocal cuts are complemented by self-made visuals (he studies design at university) and suggest a creative depth rarely seen in one so young.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
