But is the man so many credit with helping break dubstep into public consciousness leaving dubstep entirely? Many would think so with his sound definitely appearing to be undergo an evolution over the past 2 years that has seen it much more on the house and techno side of the electronic spectrum.

The latest  label news from Skream is that following on from deciding to call time on his Disfigured Dubz imprint after half a decade of releases he has decided to launch a new imprint called Of Unsound Mind which will showcase a ”melodic, deep, and colorful” aesthetic with London based producer Motions delivering the labels opening effort Of Unsound Mind 001.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
