Skapes remixes James Curd’s ‘Mr Molly’ ft. Nah Man

Share

House legend James Curd lands on Country Club Disco with this big tune ‘Mr Molly’. The track features Nah Man and comes with remixes from Skapes & Chris Tolan.

James Curd began his DJing career in Chicago when he was only fifteen years old. Being underage, Curd was snuck into events to play at raves and clubs he was not legally allowed in. He played along side some of electronic music’s most respected acts and DJs. Through his love of DJing and music Curd began to write and produce for himself.

The focus of our premiere is the superb Skapes remix. Skapes is a relatively new name on the UK underground house scene. You may also know him from his previous work as Twocker (with Low Steppa), Calvertron or his earlier work in the techno/house scene as Alex Calver (his real name) where he clocked up well over 100 vinyl releases.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
