Share
Brighton-based imprint Shogun Audio have been supplying the Drum & Bass scene with fresh music, events, and attire for the best part of twenty years. They’ve just dropped their latest clothing range, which places a serious emphasis on the brand’s pledge towards sustainability.
Revolving around the iconic Shogun symbol that the brand has become synonymous with since its inception in 2004, the Icon collection draws influence from Japanese iconography to create a varied collection that promises to be as wearable as it is timeless.
Featuring all-new tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers, and hats, as well as improved garment quality and sizing, the Icon collection aims to encapsulate all the values that Shogun Audio prides itself on as a record label.
One of those most prevalent in this drop is the theme of sustainability. By combining high quality organic and fair-trade materials, shipping the products worldwide using fully recyclable packaging, and using carbon offsetting postage solutions, the aim is to minimise their impact on the environment with their latest Icon range.
It’s a trend that we’re seeing more and more of in the world of electronic music and we’re all for it. Businesses have an obligation to do their part in working towards a much more sustainable world, so it’s great to see another underground imprint recognizing the importance of the role they have to play.
