Scott Diaz has “Life On The Outside”

Share

Bringing UK flavours to the timeless sound of Chicago House, Grand Plans is the label project from Scott Diaz. Scott’s music can be found on the likes of Simma Black, Defected and Large. He has also collaborated on tracks with the likes of Low Steppa and Matt Jam Lamont.

Scott Diaz’s organic style of house has a timeless sound that’s all about soul, rawness and authenticity. This extended EP is only the fifth release for Scott’s imprint Grand Plans which was launched in 2016.

The concept behind Grand Plans is all about meaningful music-craft and big picture-thinking. Titled “Life On The Outside” this EP is aimed at taking the listener on an altogether deeper and more profound dance floor journey. Each of the seven tracks has a two-step groove with shuffling percussion and sensual vocals fused with jazzy chords. Our premiere is close of the release, with the intimate sounds of “Girlfriend”.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
