Saytek Live Joins AndThen for Lunchtime Live Stream on Mixcloud

The Data Transmission Mixcloud page has been airing some great live streams over the past few months. We have seen Lisa Janes’ Disco Infiltrators gaining huge numbers with the others following suit.

After a catch-up call between AndThen and DT head honcho Grahame Farmer, they devised a cunning plan of doing something differently.  Why not start a lunchtime Livestream, and why not air it from a kitchen? ‘Lunch AndThen Some’ was born. Since Autumn 2020, AndThen has been livening up lunchtimes, 12 pm every Tuesday on our Data Transmission Mixcloud page.

Things have now gone even bigger as AndThen is now inviting guests to play the second hour after him. So far AndThen has had Traded Music’s Lawrence Friend and The Moves’ Matt Erst.

Next week we are honoured to have an artist Carl Cox described as “One of the Uk’s freshest and most exciting acts, All the music Written & produced by the man himself, Amazing” The one and only Saytek

Ahead of AndThen releasing a track on Saytek’s label Cubism in late February. Saytek will be performing an exclusive one-hour Livestream with new material that has not been performed live before.  You can catch the stream on our Mixcloud page and also our Facebook page from 12pm – Midday  Tuesday 16th February.

Over the past few years, UK artist, Saytek (aka Joseph Keevill) has carved himself a reputation as one of the electronic music scene’s most innovative live acts thanks to his impressive dynamic shows. Saytek is known for his mastery of machines (including analogue synths, sequencers and drum machines, alongside advanced technology), combined with unique energy and ear for melody. His sound is genre-defying, taking listeners on a journey through underground house, acid and techno that is tough yet intricate and deep. Watching him live on our Mixcloud page will be an aural and visual treat.

Make sure you keep an eye out for more live guests on AndThen’s lunchtime show.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
