Samuel L Session remixes DaMarii Saunderson & Nihil Young’s ‘Transcendence’

Frequenza Records is a label run by Nihil Young with a legacy of releases showcasing many great artists ranging from Maetrik aka Maceo Plex to Simina Grigoriu, and their new release features original tracks including ‘Transcendence’ from MARII plus a remix from Samuel L Session.

MARII is the alias of DaMarii Saunderson who is the son of pioneering techno artist Kevin Saunderson, and along with releases on his father’s label KMS, he has also contributed to House Of House and Blu Music. Nihil Young along with many top selling releases on his own labels has also signed tracks to other imprints including Funk’n Deep, Tulipa, Gem Records, 1605 and Capsula.

On remix duty is Samuel L Session who many will recognise from his many techno releases on labels including Sleaze, ARTS, Tronic, Affin, Soma, and Figure, he finishes the EP with the stabbing chords of his remix that’s influenced by the classic Detroit sound.
