Roman Flügel announces new album ‘All The Right Noises’

roman fluegel

Roman Flügel is set to release this third studio album ‘All The Right Noises’ on Dial Recordings.

The Hamburg label has released the two other solo LPs by him, 2011’s Fatty Folders and 2014’s Happiness Is Happening, along with a few EPs, with this one set to drop at the end of October.

He said “To me the studio work is a welcome alternation from my DJ sets during the weekends. This time the opposition even goes so far, that I partially bypass obvious beats and even the classic 4/4 scheme is often avoided.”

Flügel discloses and revers on tracks like “Fantasy”, “The Mighty Sun” or “Life Tends To Come And Go” – three tunes, that in a sense frame his album “All The Right Noises”.

They represent the beginning and the open, in an infinitely sounding future disintegrating end. “In addition to the contrast of the weekend business, I focused on the freedom of structure. Nothing needs to function. Some tracks are simply recorded live and never got quantized. It is an attempt to dissolve the musical pulse, or blurring it at least ”

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
