American house DJ and producer Roland Clark has teamed up with London based DJ, producer and sound engineer Trish O. to compose a brand new masterpiece. Today, the duo land on Heldeep Records with the infectious sound of ‘This Is Techno’.

International superstar OliverHeldens founded HeldeepRecords to create a platform to showcase the new music of budding producers after receiving 1000s of demos. Since 2014, Heldeep Records has grown from a modest imprint into a fully-fledged label.

The track opens with a low, electronic vocal which is soon supported by a strong bassline laced with bouncing tech synths. Shortly after the first bride sets in, a massive drop that can only be described as the purest form of techno, hits with a fierce beat and accelerated hi-hats. ‘This Is Techno’ portrays what a typical techno banger should sound like as promised in its name.

With over 650.000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Roland Clark is no stranger to many. Known from massive hits such as ‘Children’ and ‘The First Time Free’, the American artist has already dominated the hit lists more than once. Combining forces with Trish O., who likes to follow the purest of paths from the dancefloor to the studio, their collaboration is set to be a massive success.

Amassing an impressive list of gigs, Trish O. has performed at some of the world’s most-revered venues, including Ministry of Sound, Egg Club and Pacha. With the sound of ‘This Is Techno’ the duo is ready to set the industry on fire.
