Rising German talent David Löhlein to drop blistering techno release, ‘Sion’ EP

Share

German techno DJ and producer David Löhlein has had a meteoric rise in 2019. After landing a residency at Stuttgart’s Lehmann Club. The up and comer released his hypnotic tune ‘Altai’. Which was played by everyone across the techno spectrum from SPFDJ to Charlotte De Witte, who dropped it at Tomorrowland 2019.

Just a few months later, the rising German artist is back with an equally memorable follow-up, named ‘Sion’ EP. To be released by Bulgarian techno label Mekanika Recordings. Co-founded by the godfather of Bulgarian techno, DJ Steven aka Stevo Kurt and local rising stars Zimone and Ziggy, Mekanika is a Sofia-based imprint, launched in 2018.

The EP sees Löhlein deliver three blistering techno cuts and an old school rave track, showing a new side to the German up and comer. We premiere ‘Clawing’ from the four-track ep. It teleports you in the middle of a dark dancefloor, where pulsating synths and enchanting percussions reign supreme.
