REFUGE NYC drop late November and December lineups

REFUGE NYC New Year’s Eve is about to shut down the city with pure underground spirit. The club closes out its first year with a bucket-list moment and a huge statement. Sasha lands inside a 500-capacity room on 31st December, and it is a jaw-dropping rarity in today’s big-stage world. REFUGE NYC New Year’s Eve feels intimate, sweaty and seriously dialled in. It is the perfect way to end a debut year that has already shifted New York’s house and techno landscape.

Since opening this autumn, REFUGE has quickly become Brooklyn’s most talked-about new dance sanctuary. The venue is steered by founders John Dimatteo and sonic mastermind Craig Shorty Bernabeu. Each week, Shorty retunes and upgrades the bespoke REX analogue sound system, chasing even deeper warmth, punch and clarity. The results are outrageous. The club also unveils its new custom-built DJ booth this month, a three-month project engineered for absolute precision and closeness between DJ and crowd. REFUGE NYC New Year’s Eve arrives just as the room hits full power.

As the venue settles into the holiday season, REFUGE confirms that Serge Devant joins as a new club resident. His upcoming extended after-hours set will lay down a serious first marker and set the tone for winter. The venue continues to push bold, future-leaning programming, leading straight into the REFUGE NYC New Year’s Eve finale with Sasha and Vivian Wang on 31st December and Victor Calderone, Avision and Jivan Calderone on New Year’s Day.

Before the big night, REFUGE drops a stacked late autumn and winter schedule. November closes with Battle Hymn taking over with J. Aria, Michael Magnan and Donofrio. Saturdays stay heavy with Tim Green, Anthony Middleton, Ranger Trucco and Claudio. The month rolls through Serge Devant’s After session, Tony Humphries for Sunday Selectors and a special Thanksgiving Eve with Natalia Roth, Shahar and Jean Pierre. Battle Hymn returns for a holiday edition with Dane Deveraux, Eli Escobar and Tom Peters, followed by Joey Llanos and Shorty stepping in for Sunday Selectors.

December keeps the pace high with Josh Butler, Liam Palmer, Elliot Schooling and Heidy P, plus Chuwee and Matisa. Sunrise heads get Serge Devant and Dimatteo on the 14th. The marquee slots bring Miss Gypsy, Carl Craig and Octave One live on the 20th. Later in the month, Mike Dunn lands alongside Cosmo, Simon Heyliger and Mario MPC on the 27th, before Jellybean Benitez shuts down the final Sunday of the year.

REFUGE sits inside a standalone 19th century industrial complex between East Williamsburg and Bushwick. The room lives for sound, space and spirit.
