Pausepushers to release ‘Real Talk’ EP

Share

Next up on the newly formed Future Spin Records is another new Soulful House outfit, Pausepushers. Formed in North London, their aim is to create party music that’s edgy and fun with influences of the pirate radio scene that exploded in the city in their youth.

Opening with our premiere the ‘Main Mix’. It’s a bongo-led groove is joined by funky bass guitar and vocals, and warm keys. Playful and upbeat, carnival flavours up the ante and the fun factor. The ‘Detroit Mix’ strips back the percussive layers to allow the keys to shine for those late-night smoky feels. Finally, the Instrumental version for the track heads who love to find their space and just dance all night long.

Check out the ‘Main Mix’ below and grab a copy here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
