Having had a successful career span lasting a quarter of a century, Paul and Phil Hartnoll aka Orbital have decided to call an end to their illustrious run and go their separate ways.

Reigniting things back in 2008, creating the highly-acclaimed ‘Wonky’ album and appearing as headline acts on stages across many high profile festivals including Glastonbury and even during the opening ceremony of the Paralympic games hosted in London.

Since disbanding, Paul Hartnoll has already gone on to produce an album ‘8.58’ which is due to be released in February of 2015, supported by a tour in the same month. Previews of the album will come in the form of the title track ‘8.58’ on October 21st when a free download will be available alongside a video, at precisely two minutes to nine in the evening, or 8.58pm.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
