nts

2016 sees the Manchester and London based Online Radio Station NTS grow its family of residents.

Notable stand-outs include a regular fixture from the Alter Records boss and PAN signee Helm. On top of that, Aïsha Devi (the artist formerly known as Kate Wax) will be starting a monthly show following her blazing guest mix last year, whilst LuckyMe’s most prolific DJ, Éclair Fifi, will also be joining the ranks!

A couple of labels and collectives will be getting their own shows, including Young Turks and the essential Bala Club, headed by Kamixlo and Uli-K. At the same time, Nkisi, the London member of label and collective, NON Records, will be taking charge of another new show. Chicago based archival record label Numero Group are also getting an opportunity to show off their findings, and Glaswegian club legends Optimo will be taking to the airwaves on a regular basis.

The MagicWire co-founder, Lone, who’s just started his ‘Midnight Vapour Trail’ show, and Sega Bodega who’s moving forward with his ‘Soundtrack Series’. On top of that, the riot grrrl group Skinny Girl Diet are going to be heading up their own show.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
