NightFunk lands on Jacky & Friends with ‘Lies’

Jacky & Friends Records rounds out what has been a tremendous 2019 with a ninth unmissable release. This one comes from the irrepressible Dennis Hermans aka NightFunk, a young Belgian who, like all Jacky artists, doesn’t muck about in laying down direct, ass wiggling house grooves that are designed to blow up the club. This offering comes after big EPs on Material, Loulou Records, OKNF Records and Moom and confirms him as a contemporary trendsetter.

NightFunk is a hugely in-demand DJ who started 2019 with an international Gig in Frankfurt, and an EP with the likes of Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati and Detlef. It was his smooth creative skills that first won him the affections of Antwerp based concept “Ongemanierd” and Amsterdam based concept “OVRDOSE”.

Our premiere ‘Lies’ is a smartly sampled banger with soul enriched vocals that will set fire to the floor. The tight, kinetic drums hit hard and the breakdown is all about teasing the crowd until the big drop blows them away. The future is bright for NightFunk. It means he is fully focussed on the next chapter, which already promises to be a thrilling one for his fans, with loads of new tracks, as well as more EP’s on influential labels.
