It’s a well-known fact that Los Angeles is a city riddled with talented and original musicians. Latest off the conveyor belt is Katie Otro, a woman dedicated to making people dance in more ways than one.

As astute in the studio as she is behind the decks, Katie’s productions have seen her forge a fierce reputation within the US scene, with house legends Toddy Terry and Felix Da Housecat both championing her distinct sound.

Tipped for a big 2016 by many of the industry’s movers and shakers, we’ve been unable to get her selections out of our head since she blew us away with her set at ADE back in October. We knew then that this was someone we needed to welcome into the DT fold.

So with a string of EPs and an intense tour schedule planned for the new year, we thought the time was right to invite Katie to serve up a Mix Of The Day for your listening delights and we’re pleased to report she hasn’t disappointed, serving up a bone jolting set of selections sure to get those synapses firing. Check it out below.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
