Mix of the Day: Dan Gayle

Dan Gayle is a DJ with a deep passion for house, techno & electronica. He loves nothing more than to build atmosphere and intensity throughout his sets, and is a real crowd pleaser with his interactive and engaging personality. With a beaming smile permanently on his face and a kid-like excitable energy clear for everyone to see, people can’t seem to help but feed off this.

On the production front he is a fan of bending and blurring genres, loving driving beats with expansive, atmospheric synths, big building breakdowns and creating a sense of euphoria or melancholy. A lover of many different styles of music, he undoubtedly has multiple influences! As a resident DJ and co-owner of The Little Festival, he and his team have brought a new and refreshing concept of partying to the scene. They strive to break down barriers, connect people, and create a festival-esque vibe, transporting party-goers to the main stage of a festival via breathtaking set design and production, regardless of the venue or location.

He’s made appearances already at We Are Fstvl, Studio 338, MOS, The Steelyard, Troxy, Egg LDN, Pacha and Great Suffolk Street Warehouse to name a few, as well as at some key venues in Ibiza (Space, Sankeys, Cafe Del Mar, Eden), and in Goa, India (Mambo). In the process, Dan has played alongside some of the biggest artists in the industry such as Carl Cox, Pan-Pot, Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx & Dennis Ferrer, amongst others.  With his strong work ethic, and friendly nature, the future is looking very bright for this passionate producer/DJ.
