There are few artists that hold the attention of the room in the manner that Miss Kittin does. When you walk into a room for a interview, to watch a live show or see her DJ at a club the passion and intensity is there for all to see. It’s been a long time since she was crowned the queen of electroclash alongside illustrious scene luminaries The Hacker and Felix Da Housecat but the evolution of her sound and impressive live performances has seen her remain at the forefront of the electronic scene since her burst onto the scene in the 90’s.

So you can imagine our excitement when she returned to the scene with new LP ‘Calling From The Stars’ and has now revealed that she shall be following up the acclaimed album with a new EP. Set to drop on the 18th November through wSphere. The latest cut ‘Calling From The Stars‘ album is one of the poppier tracks from the record, the perfect marriage of optimistic lyrics and cold Oriental-influenced synth lines. It’ll particularly please fans of the playful electro pop hits Kittin originally became famous for, with the new track being reminiscent of ‘Rippin Kittin’ and ‘Madame Hollywood’.

Backed by remixes such as Chateaux Marmont’s ultra 80s ‘Maneki Neko‘ remix, Acid Washed and La Mverte’s spacey rework of album track ‘Cosmic Love Radiation‘ in addition to beatport competition winner Hud’s rework of the title track we’re sure it’s a package that will be garnering plenty of attention when it drops.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
