Mike McFly returns with ‘A Rare Occurrence At The Warehouse’ EP

Share

House of Hustle are back with another release from their good friend Mike McFly who’s been a close friend to the label for years now.

Mike McFly is someone who we have seen go from strength to strength, signing music with some of the biggest labels in the scene. We’ve been following Mike’s journey over the past couple of years and he has been able to keep his productions in a constant state of evolution, something that is not always that easy to do.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, in his teenage years Mike McFly quickly became infatuated with electronic music. It was the likes of Cassius, Daft Punk and DJ Falcon that pulled him towards the French House realm. The uplifting melodies and funk driven bass lines inspired him to dive in to audio production for himself. Through his work ethic and passion for the craft, Mike powered through a few other genres before arriving at his true love: dirty, gritty, Tech House.

We are pretty sure you are going to enjoy both these tunes, ‘Merecida’ with its ‘in-your-face’ kind of party vibe followed by our premiere ‘Perc Monster’ that picks up right where ‘Merecida’ left off, squeezing another 5mins of groovy juice out the release. Enjoy!

Check out ‘Perc Monster’ on Data Transmission today, and grab it here on Beatport.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
